The b-i-i-i-g new tower in Manchester. Some call it the Hilton Tower after the hotel inside it. The real name is the Beetham Tower (after I don't know what). 500 feet (150 metres) high, it easily dwarfs the rest of Manchester. From the motorway from the west its the only building visible in the city centre for some miles as you drive in.

Gosh, it's huge and looks so fragile. I like the angle, and the fine detail.
